WHAT TO EXPECT

Fun and faith do have an intersection — at Cross Mountain Kids. From kindergarten to fifth grade, our team has created an age-specific service that is tailor made for the needs of your children. From the games, to the worship, and even in small group time your child will have a blast! We want kids to learn about God’s love through His Word, and know how to apply that to everyday life at home and with friends. Your child will quickly feel right at home with our team. They may never want to leave. We hope to see your child at our next service.

We meet during all weekend services at Cross Mountain!

EARLY CHILDHOOD (6WKS - KINDER)

Our goal is to encourage preschoolers in a growing, loving relationship with Jesus Christ and others in an atmosphere where they feel a sense of belonging. We present biblical learning materials with a hands-on approach to help establish in the hearts of the children an active faith toward God and His Word. We have designed age appropriate classes just for them. We teach the simplicity of the Gospel through a variety of stories, crafts, Bible action songs and other activities. Every lesson taught reinforces Bible truths. Children can be ministered to individually during this time.

ELEMENTARY 1ST-5th GRADE

Our goal is to create an environment where kids can have fun! However, the excitement we create is richly balanced with meaningful, age-appropriate teaching that kids actually remember.  Bottom line — we do everything we can to help them begin to understand God’s love for them.

SAFETY

Your kids’ safety is our top priority. Whether you are a first-time guest or a regular attendee, your child will be in the care of an adult at all times.

Each child at check-in will receive an ID sticker with a corresponding claim ticket for the parent that the child must wear before getting dropped off in a classroom.

ANY PERSON who works with Cross Mountain Kids will be screened and interviewed prior to direct contact with children. This precautionary measure is for the protection of our children and for the ease and comfort of our parents.
All volunteers have certain, regimented guidelines to practice when dealing with specific age groups, dealing with areas of being alone with children, and when to notify parents in service.
